Unseen Book Market and Dummy Award

The Book Market location was also introducing The Unseen Dummy Award Presentation that showcased the shortlist of 34 dummies submitted for the Unseen Dummy Award that is produced in collaboration with Lecturis and Wilco Art Books.

The winning dummy of 2017 edition is a handmade publication about the last remaining primeval forest in Poland, the Bialowieza National Park. Cry of an Echo by Malgorzata Stankiewicz will be published by Lecturis and Wilco Art Books in spring 2018.

This year’s international jury was comprised of Paul van Mameren (Lecturis), Ann-Christin Bertrand (C/O Berlin), Rémi Coignet (The Eyes Magazine), Dieter de Lathauwer (winner of the Unseen Dummy Award 2016) and Delphine Bedel (Photographer, Lecturer, Curator and Publisher META/Books).
